Day by Day
After breakfast, you will drive from Arusha (early morning) to Serengeti which takes around 7 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Arrive at Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon, proceed with a game drive in the Seronera area (center of Serengeti). Experience the sunset in the Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals. If you are lucky, you may spot a predator hunting or on a kill. Later, head to the Seronera campsite.
Note: You can also view animals from the camp, mostly hyenas. There is close protection from active rangers, so no need to worry.
After breakfast, we continue with the early morning game drive until lunchtime. After lunch, we head to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight. On the way, you can opt to visit a Maasai village (optional) and explore the culture of the great Maasai tribe known for chasing lions off their kill. To be considered as a warrior, they had to hunt lions and drink animal blood. Fortunately, these traditions are a thing of the past. With the exception of drinking blood, you can surely learn something from this tour. Or you can opt to visit the famous Olduvai George (cradle of mankind). Dinner and overnight at Public Campsite.
We spend this full day in Serengeti National Park exploring morning and afternoon game drives.
Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular National Park also a world heritage and one of the best wildlife sanctuary sites and recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder. Serengeti is famous for its annual migration this offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa.
The Park is believed to be the second after the Ruaha national park, to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due to the abundance of prey species.
The park also supports many further species including leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocodiles, and many more games. A lot of birds including the Eurasia migrants are recorded here.
Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Seronera Campsite.
After an early breakfast will descend the crater (around 6am) on a journey to find the black rhino, rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater. Other animals are even much easier to spot from this park due to it being a floor crater
After lunch will do a game drive and ascend the crater ready for the trip back to your hotel in Arusha or airport.
